The XIS-1080D™ is a compact X-Ray Inspection System (XIS) built to screen heavy baggage. Its conveyor can support up to 200 kg (440 lbs.) and is only 30 cm (12.0”) above the floor, to help crews load and unload freight. A high-resolution generator provides clear images that make it easy to inspect dense, tightly-packed bags and parcels. Colorful material discrimination and enhanced image filters allows operators to recognize objects, identify materials, and isolate threats with better speed and accuracy.

The XIS-1080D has a small operational footprint that makes it well-suited to confined spaces that require strong protection against weapons, explosives, and contraband.

The XIS-1080D is an advanced X-Ray Inspection System that offers tunnel dimensions of 101.0 cm x 80.0 cm (40.0” x 31.4”). Significantly, with a low conveyor height of just 30 cm (12”), it facilitates fast loading and is well suited for heavy object screening.

With a redesigned XIS-1080 frame, the XIS-1080D embodies efficiency and ease of use for operators. The XIS-1080D boasts reliability and increased throughput rate due to its convenient conveyor height.

Moreover, the XIS-1080D x ray inspection system is the smallest of the XIS Series for medium capacity screening and is ideally suited for locales with high congestion, limited system space and heavy object screening.
